What's the story & how do you feel?
Our design was inspired by the animated film Inside Out, in which the interaction between emotions and memories inspired us. We hope to use an immersive installation to allow viewers to experience the subtle relationship between information and emotions during their visit. The entire installation will be placed in a specific tour route, and the audience will pass through different scenes during the journey, each of which is equipped with a specific colour filter. These filters are randomly matched, which means that even if it is the same scene, different audiences or the same audience at different times may perceive completely different emotional experiences.
We hope to express the subjectivity of information dissemination through this - reality is not objective, and people's understanding of events will vary depending on their perspective, emotional state, and the influence of the environment they are in. Just as media reports may shape different public opinions due to narrative methods, visual elements, or personal biases, the audience's experience in this installation will also produce different psychological and emotional reactions due to the change of colour. This design can not only inspire viewers to think about their perception mechanism but also guide them to have a deeper understanding of the relationship between information reception and emotional impact.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is the United Kingdom's national public service broadcaster, headquartered in London. Founded in 1922, it is the world's oldest national broadcaster and one of the most influential media organizations globally. The BBC operates under a Royal Charter, ensuring its independence from government and commercial interests.
The organization provides a diverse range of content, including television, radio, and online services, reaching millions of people worldwide. As the largest public broadcaster in the UK, the BBC has long dominated the television and radio sectors. According to a report by Ofcom, the UK communications regulator, the BBC has a market share of about 25-30% among UK TV viewers. This makes the BBC still one of the most popular news sources in the UK, especially in the field of public broadcasting. However, this share has declined in recent years, especially among younger audiences, challenged by streaming platforms, social media and digital news sources.
